Pushing Toward 199 Pounds
I’m lacking the words today.
My wife and daughter were sick all last week. Just as they get better toward the end of the week, I get sick with some hybrid of the flu. I miss my big 10k and feel terrible all weekend. I’ve been so unproductive. Luckily, I quickly rebounded in enough time for the Monday morning grind.
I’m pushing hard toward 199 pounds. I’m eating around 2,000 calories a day and working out between 8:30-9:30 every night — no variety. I’m doing a mix between cardio and weight training. I’m starting to build muscles and I like what I’m seeing — nothing is changing anytime soon.
I have a lot of fantastic new posts lined up, this just isn’t one of them. Over the next few days I have to prepare my taxes and wrap up a couple of big projects at the house, but after that my schedule is free for the rest of the Spring (minus the weekends). I’m traveling this weekend for Easter, my daughter is going to have her first Easter Egg hunt.
She’s growing up so fast.
