    My. freaking. hero.

No doubt in my mind you’ll do this. Can’t wait to see you in that tux. I hope you’ll play on a swingset while wearing it and snap a picture. That’d make my day…again.

    Love your guts.

  7. krissy says:

Way to go Tyler. You put the biggest loser contestants to shame!

You should be so proud of yourself.

  8. What do you do to stay motivated, this is what I am having trouble with. I get home from work, I make dinner and I just can’t seem to stay motivated enough to get to the gym.

  9. beej says:

So close!! That’s awesome! You’ll totally hit this goal!

  10. Molly says:

  12. 199 for sure by April 10! You can do it! Great to see your progress week after week, and hopefully I can continue in your footsteps. I had a friend send me this cool daily excel sheet that helps me adjust things daily, assuming I succumb to the scale everyday. Wasn’t sure if I should weigh-in everyday, but I think I might give it a one week trial, see if it helps …or hurts. Great job!

  13. Patrick says:

Way to go Tyler! I’ve been stuck in a slump for the last week or so, started with being sick, it’s hard to get back to the gym after a lapse but I’m gonna do it this time.

  14. Blogging helps me stay motivated, and I mean REALLY helps me. It keeps me extremely accountable, so when I say I’m going to exercise 4 times a week, I exercise 4 times a week. Sometimes, it’s all I think about, my blog, Jiu-Jitsu, my success. To me, that’s half the battle, just getting my mind straight.

  15. WC David says:

I usually find it hard to get to the gym after dinner as well. That’s why I started eating a snack around 3 or 4pm (I’m usually out around 5) and I go to the gym straight after work then eat dinner after. That’s worked pretty well for me. I’ve been on track since October.

  16. Michelle says:

Boy do I ever know the feeling of setting a goal and missing it by a mile.. that’s the hardest part.

I have 4 pounds to lose by the end of the month, it seems very unlikely now especially since I had a breakdown yesterday and consumed things I shouldn’t have.

I fall back, but must get back up… I must.

Congrats Tyler, keep it up (which is the hardest part).

  17. Tara says:

I seriously need to think about buying a cheerleading outfit so that I can do some crazy cheer!

    GIMME A “T”. GIMME AN “A”. GIMME AN “N”. GIMME A “K”

    What’s that spell? TANK!
    What’s that spell? TANK!
    What’s that spell? TANK!
    Goooooooooooooooooooo TANK!

Hmmm, maybe I’ll just get some pom poms and skip the outfit.

  18. Congrats. I am rooting for you. You are a winner today and every day already however.

On my blog today I posted about weight loss success That I achieved after many runs down tunnels without cheese. Yay I found the cheese. Funny all my metaphors are about food.
    XD

  19. bossymommy says:

Just pom poms? No outfit? Wow, now that’s what I call going the extra mile to be a cheerleader. I’d offer that, but I don’t think anyone wants to see me doing naked rah-rahs.

  20. Tamikka says:

    Congratulations on the continued losses.

Now that I’ve said that, I feel like making my own little competition in my head. I weigh 205.8. I’m headed to 199 really soon. I want to beat you there! 😉

See you on the other side…of 200! Woo hoo!!

  21. beej says:

    LOL, you guys are hilarious!

  22. Cory says:

    YAY! Almost there Tyler!

  25. Cathy says:

Wow, dude you are absolutely rocking this fat loss thing! Congrats!

  26. Stacey says:

You inspire the heck out of me! You’ll be under 200 by the time you put that tux on for sure!

  27. Jess says:

YEAH! Almost at Onederland! You can do it.

I’m hoping to get there sometime soon too. The scale has been unfriendly even though I’ve been working hard but we’ll see.

  28. Jaclyn says:

Tyler the TANK!!! High Five YO!!!
Tell me why I hear the Spice Girls singing “when 2 becomes 1”. You own that 199. That 199 is like the Persian messenger after King Leonidus drop kicks him in the well!
TONIGHT WE DINE IN HELLLLL! 🙂
    SPARTTTTAAANNNNNNSSSSS!!!!! 🙂

  29. Jaclyn says:

p.s. Youre trademark cracked me UPPPP!!

  30. Holly says:

6 pounds by April 10th – I think you can do it! You’ve had weeks where you lost 8 pounds or more…plus you have over 2 weeks to get it done! My goal was to lose 9 pounds over the course of the month of March. So far I’ve only lost 4 pounds. It’s going in the right direction, but unless this is a big week, I’ll probably miss it by a couple pounds… 🙁 My fault though…I loafed through the 1st two weeks of the month! Buckling down now…

    You are doing GREAT!

Congrats! Keep up the good work. Your consistency is inspiring.
