    Tyler,

You are doing great. It is amazing what you have done.

Nice job Tyler! I can also see more definition as well (esp. in your upper back and shoulder area).

  3. Michelle says:

I think I see some more back definition.. good job tyler!

PS: It’s very red in your house… early morning?

  4. Cat says:

Woo! Definately some back muscle. Looking good!

  5. Chris Clarke says:

Lookin’ fit. The skin will take time to adjust, probably a few years if ever, but that will take care of itself and is beyond your control. Stay focused on what you can control.

  6. Dan says:

I’m just excited my shoulders and traps are coming back in!

  7. Rachel says:

What’s the sched/routine looking like, Tank?

I had to go back to last week’s “weigh-in” to compare. Guess what…loose skin or no you are getting some definition in your tummy too! I finish my first session of fitness bootcamp tomorrow morning. I’ve already gotten into a smaller size in pants. Session two starts June 16th and I’m going for 4 days a week instead of 3. I think it’s time to start my own blog.
    Awesome progress!

Oh yes I see those muscles! Tyler you are so freakin awesome. You are doin this my friend and do it like its no one’s business.

I need a shirt that says something along the lines of “Team Tank”

Someday when I got girl guns I’m gonna wrap them around you and squeeze the hell out of you for being so awesome and showing us that this possible no matter the starting point.

Nice work, Tyler! I haven’t checked on your blog in quite awhile, so I am absolutely thrilled to see that you have cracked the 200lb mark! Way to go! Don’t fret over the loose skin. With time and muscle-building that should go away. Just keep the perspective you had going into this: this was about saving your life, not about looking good. Now that you have accomplished part one of that you can work on part two. The important thing to remember is that you’ve made it this far! Congratulations!

I’m losing weight, too. It is so exciting to feel my jeans loosen up. Once you pass through that threshold into complete commitment, there’s no stopping you. It took me a long time to finally “get it” and get past that threshold, but I did it. I’m working up a sweat 6 days/week and only putting things into my body that will nourish me. The way I feel physically, mentally and emotionally is astounding, too. I haven’t weighed myself in over a week, but at that point I’d lost around 10 lbs. total. I’m thinking it will be more when I get on the scale again (probably Friday if I remember) because of how my jeans have been feeling. My goodness – if I can do this, anyone can. The power was inside me the entire time; I just now have tapped into it.

  12. I can see on your back as well, more prominent there. Also see some in your arms. Looking pretty good, man..keep it up.

I’m feeling very sore from my first workout in a very long time. Did chest yesterday, doing legs on Thurs. Back and shoulders on the weekend.

  13. Jeff Ochoa says:

Awesome job dude. Way to get below the 200lb mark. That’s a milestone for sure.

  14. Sean says:

Ok – come on now – are you really not weighing yourself? Or just not posting it. It would drive me absolutely nuts not weighing everyday. If you are scale abstaining I am impressed.

  15. Kat says:

Your arms are looking sweet!! and the shoulder area is tightening up nicely too 🙂 Good Job!

  16. kate says:

Your shoulders are definitely coming along.
