I’ve had kind of a slow start to my work-out week. Monday I took the day off and Tuesday I didn’t get to play in my volleyball game as much as I had hoped (and planned in my weekly workout schedule). BUT I’m really excited to hit the gym tonight get in a good hard workout.

So far, right on target. I spent a good bit of time this past Saturday pushing the mower, probably for the last time this year, so the walking and elliptical will have to get me through the winter. A shorter walk and weight training on Sunday, elliptical Monday, weights again Tues, and back to a walk planned today. Gotta keep movin’…

So maybe you’ve gained some pounds, but these pictures really show some slimming down! All that weight lifting is really starting to show. I’d trust those pictures over that scale any day. Best wishes.

Physical activity gets a little tougher during the winter, as we just want to stay inside where it’s warm. I know I’ve felt that as it’s been getting colder over the last couple of weeks.

Maybe I should look for a new Wii game?!

  5. Tyler says:

I’m glad! How’d your workout go last night?!

  6. Tyler says:

Yeah, the pictures are by far much more important to me than the scale. I just want to be healthy and look decent.

When you have young kids, working out before the rest of the family wakes up is the surest way to go.

Plus you’re from the South and early morning is about the only bareable time of day to run during most of the year.

Of course it helps if you’re an early riser.

  8. Tyler says:

I’m not an early riser. That’s the problem. I’d rather stay up until 4 AM than wake up at 4 AM.
