Newly Surfaced Picture Taken Before Weight Loss
Here’s your daily dose of motivation: a picture.
I’ve changed a little since this picture taken in 2005. This was still four years before I started losing weight, which means I was well below my heaviest. This “before shot” is still rare because I simply didn’t allow any pictures to be taken of myself. I was ashamed. I knew what I looked like. I knew I was eating myself to death.
I just didn’t want to face it.
Face it. If you’re not happy with where you’re going, change directions. You have the power to do it, whether you think so or not. Don’t get paralyzed by planning, just do it. Start counting calories and move around.
Eat less, move more, and lose weight. That’s how I did it and you can, too.
You don’t have to give up your favorite foods or go to the gym two hours a day — simply don’t go over your allotted calories on most days out of the month and try to exercise 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. That’s it. If you can stick to that basic plan for the next few months, I guarantee you you’ll be well on your way to losing weight.
I’m going to post more on that “basic plan” tomorrow. Stay tuned.
