I had a lot more prepared for this post, but I think less is more.
I now take life for granted. It’s funny how time can change things. I would’ve given anything to weigh close to 200 pounds a couple of years ago, now I just keep demanding more and more out of myself. That’s good and bad. It’s good because I have very high expectations for myself and keep moving forward, but it’s also bad because I can’t ever just stop and realize how good I have it these days.
With that said, don’t ever, ever take life for granted. Don’t take your body for granted.
If you’re not where you want to be in life, please do whatever you can to change your circumstances. You should still be happy with who you are and what you’ve got as long as you’re alive, don’t ever be depressed over your weight, finances, etc — but if you want to better yourself, then wake up every morning, put on a smile, and get to work.
Life change is possible and probable. I did it, and I’m no different than you.
