Back from Vacation and Ready to Finish Strong
I’ve disappeared this last week while on vacation — it’s been a wonderful week.
My wife and I first went to her family’s lake house where I rode on the jet ski until my hands were sore. And, when I was tired with that, I hopped on the tube and had someone pull it at 45 MPH on the jet ski.
It hurts when you whipe out at those speeds.
After the lake house we headed to our favorite South Carolina destination, Myrtle Beach. We went shopping, ate a lot of food, and enjoyed the beach. My daughter got to meet Lotso at The Disney Store, and yes, he smells of strawberries.
I love vacation, but I also love getting back and finishing what I started oh so long ago: my book. My editor, Mel Edwards, is extremely tough on me, and she’s making sure the book is perfect before it’s read by another human being. While I had intended for it to be released by now, it just wasn’t ready. It will be though, and soon.
Until then, it’s time to keep writing and work off the pounds I’ve gained on vacation.
