Body Transformation: Week 128
This book has taken more time and more hard work than anything I’ve ever done.
Weight: 203 pounds | down 0.4 pounds since last week
Weekly Progress (#128)
I’m currently neglecting a lot of things in my life. I’m still giving my 100% at the office and I’m putting my family first, but my family is not getting all of the attention they rightfully deserve. My friends are not getting the attention they deserve. Forum, twitter, Facebook, and e-mail replies are not getting the attention they deserve.
But it’s for a good cause. And like pain, it’s only temporary. Only a few more weeks.
Writing and publishing this book is a lot like losing weight. It takes sacrifice. It takes hard work. It takes relentless hours of painstaking, grueling repetition, writing page after page, counting calorie after calorie, to accomplish a goal.
I wrote posts for weeks on this blog without another soul reading them. The fact that 344 Pounds is by thousands everyday and will soon be made into a book is amazing and humbling. And just to clarify, the book is not rehashed blog posts. It’s written from scratch, 100% new material, covering everything from my overweight childhood, living with obesity, and finally, it goes in-depth and follows my weight loss journey.
It will help people lose weight, just like the blog did — just in a different platform.
When the book is finally released in the next few weeks my blog posts will suddenly be longer and more comprehensive again. It’s hard to find time at night to write both a robust blog post and part of a book. I’ll be able add more features onto my Wednesday posts as suggested. I’ll start posting five days a week, consistently. I’ll start being more responsive through social media on the forum. I’ll be able to breathe again.
I can’t wait. Thanks for supporting me, as always.
