Another Success Story Made Possible by Counting Calories
I hear about a lot of weight loss success stories through e-mail.
All of the stories are touching, but this one really moved me. Maybe it’s because I can relate so well. Or maybe it’s because I’m able to see the physical changes taking place in Marc’s life. I usually get to read about transformations, but I rarely get progress pictures to go with them.
Here’s part of Marc’s e-mail with progress pictures:
Early 2011 I was 28 years old, very overweight (400+ pounds) and not too motivated to do anything about it. I was a couch potato, depressed, in denial and my body was screaming out for help.
Then I saw your blog, and it made me realize what I was doing to myself and that I would need to change my lifestyle or suffer the pain of regret. Your accomplishments inspired me to start living a healthier life.
Since April 2011 I’ve lost over 130 pounds and I’m still going strong. I’ve been counting calories, taking walks and now I’m also cycling to work every day (+/- 11 miles). Life is a lot better now and my confidence is way up. I’m no longer a couch potato and I’ve even been out on a few dates 😉
Attached is a picture of my face that shows before and current.
So thank you. Even though I’m on the other side of the world and we don’t know each other, you have been, and still are, a big inspiration for me.
Touching, as I said.
